“Goecke choreographed this duo using the lullaby with which the mythical firebird
put the magician and his company to sleep, and added the triumphal finale.
His duet can be interpreted as a meeting between the Firebird and the Prince, two
beings of different natures: a bird that dances and a person that flies.”

Sasha Riva and Simone Repele have the chance to performe Firebird in a version
constructed for two men.
